Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier Dunkel Review
- Style
- German Dunkelweizen
- ABV
- 5.3%

Tasting notes
- Aroma
- Moderate amounts of clove. Some citrus. Hints of caramel and butterscotch. No hop. A little bit of banana as it warms up.
- Appearance
- Dark amber and very cloudy. Head retention is good with a huge foamy off-white head.
- Flavor
- Banana with some hint of clove and butterscotch. Some bitterness lingers towards the finish. Sweet but not cloying.
- Mouthfeel
- Medium mouthfeel with good carbonation and creaminess.
- Overall
- A great example of a Dunkelweizen. Would go great with holiday food as well as fish.
