Tasting notes
- Aroma
- Mostly banana with some hints of clove and as the beer warms up, some citrus notes. No hop aroma. Possibly some malty or wheaty undertones as it warms up.
- Appearance
- Cloudy with a long lasting white head. Pale yellow color.
- Flavor
- A slight carbonic bite to start. Banana predominates. No hop flavor, slightly sweet, but the yeast character adds a contrast.
- Mouthfeel
- Light and creamy on the mouth. Very carbonated but smooth.
- Overall
- A great example of a German Hefeweizen.
