Tasting notes
- Aroma
- Big grapefruit aroma with some other citrus notes. No diacetyl. No malt evident.
- Appearance
- Amber gold, with thick foamy slightly off-white creamy head. Slightly cloudy.
- Flavor
- Some citrus (grapefruit) and just enough malt to offset the bitterness somewhat. The bitterness becomes more prevalent in the finish. No diacetyl.
- Mouthfeel
- Medium mouth with slight astringency and good carbonation.
- Overall
- A great beer. One of my favorite American pale ales.
