Aroma
Clove is the main aroma. Some citrus and very little banana. No malt or hop aromas.
Appearance
Medium amber and cloudy. Head retention is good and head is bright white.
Flavor
Lots of carbonic bite and some papery oxidation.
Mouthfeel
Light mouthfeel, some astringency. Good carbonation and a little thin.
Overall
Another flawed beer that I've had at the source. This bottle was old and old German beer usually sucks. This is no exception. I would recommend checking the date on the bottle before buying.
