Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier Dunkel Review

ABV
5.30%
Aroma

Moderate amounts of clove. Some citrus. Hints of caramel and butterscotch. No hop. A little bit of banana as it warms up.

Appearance
Dark amber and very cloudy. Head retention is good with a huge foamy off-white head.
Flavor
Banana with some hint of clove and butterscotch. Some bitterness lingers towards the finish. Sweet but not cloying.
Mouthfeel
Medium mouthfeel with good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall
A great example of a Dunkelweizen. Would go great with holiday food as well as fish.
