Southern Hemisphere Hoppy PIlsner

Beer Style
ABV
5.50%

A seasonal beer from Sierra Nevada. This one is hard to define. It's not your typical pilsner, but I'll assume it's more German then Bohemian Pils.

Aroma

Plenty of fruity and floral hop aroma. No real malt aroma, but I expect that with appears to be a dry-hopped beer. No phenolic or other aromas.

Appearance
Gold color with hazy clarity (I also assume from dry-hopping). Head retention is very good and long lasting, with a nice white foamy head.
Flavor
Some malt, but citrus dominates. Mostly lime but some other tropical fruit notes. The finish is slightly bitter with a fruity flavor lingering.
Mouthfeel
Nice and dry, but also with a nice medium body. Carbonic bite is present, but doesn't get in the way.
Overall
I really like this beer. The New Zealand hops add an element that is not common in the Northern Hemisphere and this is a very drinkable beer.
